Boater’s note
Free launch on the north side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway with quick access to Old Tampa Bay. Two lanes, decent trailer parking, and it never gets as crowded as the ramps closer to downtown Tampa. Watch for shoaling on the north side of the causeway at low tide, and expect wind chop when it blows from the south — the bay is wide open here.
