Plan your launch

Florida boating trip planner

Pick a ramp and we'll find the nearest NOAA tide station, then show you the next 48 hours of high tides, low tides, sunrise, sunset, and the best launch windows for a trip.

Type to filter across all 2,603 Florida ramps.

🚣 Pick a ramp above to see your 48-hour launch windows.

How this works

  1. Pick your ramp — we look up the closest NOAA tide station (of 22 statewide).
  2. We pull the next 48 hours of predicted high and low tides from NOAA.
  3. Sunrise and sunset are computed for your ramp's exact latitude and longitude.
  4. We highlight the best launch windows: enough daylight, favorable tide, and a return before dark.

Important notes

  • Tide predictions are astronomical — wind and pressure can shift real water levels up to a foot.
  • The closest tide station may still be miles away. Local knowledge beats a distant prediction.
  • Always check the live radar, marine forecast, and small-craft advisories before you launch.
  • This tool is planning aid only — not for navigation.
